Come Away with ME

“But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God.” ‭‭Ruth‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭AMP‬‬

At the place of heartfelt determination is the release of promises stored in heaven.

Will you cling to God? There is something only God knows about you. A path he has predestined only for you to walk in. The Bible says God foreknew you (Romans 8:28), created you for good works beforehand that you should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). Many of you have not yet even scratched the surface of what God has reserved for you. The question is, will you cling to God? God says I have laid before you life and death, blessings and curses. And I would rather that you choose the heaven's Ife that you may live.

The place of the release of heavens knowledge and mysteries concerning your life is heartfelt determination. Where you go God I will go, what you do, I will do. What you say, I will say. Your people will be my people and what burns your heart will burn mine. Ruth was not even of Jewish origin, yet through a faith-filled determination, she broke protocol! When she encountered the good news when she observed the God of Naomi. She demonstrated determination to cling tightly and not loosen her grip on such a treasure. She was willing to forsake familiarity, the comfort of her own parents, including the gods of her homeland. Going as far as even forsaking the possibility of a new husband.

Ruth did not know she would receive a husband when she made this heartfelt promise. She didn’t know what was ahead yet she was determined, for whatever former things were gains to her, such things she considered loss for the sake of Christ, who was embodied through the life of Naomi. Yet little did she know that heaven knew all about her. She didn’t know that in her determination she was stepping right into an eternal agenda. She didn’t know that God reserved for her more than just a husband. It was through her determination that she unlocked favor from God.

You see you are favored by God, you have obtained favor by coming to know the Son, Jesus. But unless you are stubborn and determined to cling tightly. Such favor will not be released or rather realized. The Bible says to seek( strive after, vigorously pursue) first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these other things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Today I want to challenge you. Will you forsake? Will you leave the place of comfort? Unbelief, the sin, and the weight that so easily trips you up and cling tightly to Jesus. Who is the Author and finisher of your faith? Today is a new day to forsake the former things!!

When your heart's motive is to seek God, to pursue Jesus, to know him, and to walk with him and obey him. The possibilities of what your life can become are endless.

Prayer

Father thank you that through Jesus I am favored by you. I know you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me to give me a future and hope. I pray Lord for an awakening of commitment, founded upon faith in your word, and determination to finish my race well, despite opposition. I pray that I would live to see, what you can accomplish through a surrendered heart. I pray Holy Spirit that each and every day my heart would be lived surrendered and established in pursuit of you. In Jesus's Name Amen.
